Just 400 Ferrari Enzos would roll out of the fabled Maranello gates, with this European-spec example being supplied to its original Spanish keeper in February 2004. The car was finished in the iconic combination of Rosso Corsa with Nero trim and Rosso inserts, taking significant inspiration from the model’s predecessor the F50; a colour combination that it retains to this day.
At the Enzo’s heart lay an all-new, mid-mounted, 5,998-cc V-12 engine capable of producing more than 650 bhp; a figure greater than the output of any of its contemporary rivals. With a redline of over 8,000 rpm this powertrain remains one of the most intoxicating and enthralling to this day, with an iconic soundtrack to match. Such power was suitably matched to a full carbon-body that was designed by the legendary Ken Okuyama; again one of the most distinctive supercar designs to date and one that will only serve to better as time passes.
This Enzo would remain in Spain for the first few years of its life, before being sold to a UK-based collector in 2007, who remarkably owned two other examples at the time; finished in Tour de France Blu and Giallo Modena. With a known UK history, the car would continue to enjoy ownership in some of the finest Ferrari collections of these shores.
It was in 2018 that we first encountered this example, when the car was purchased by a long-standing Furlonger customer who entrusted our workshop to carry out a major service with clutch and flywheel replacement in 2019 at 10,304 KM.
Since these works, we have been fortunate to maintain this Enzo on a number of occasions, most recently preparing and selling the vehicle to another good client and friend of Furlonger in 2020, where it would once again sit in one of the finest UK collections. On this occasion we carried out extensive preparation works on the vehicle, that included new tyres, a suspension overhaul and facilitating the Classiche Certification that the car now enjoys.
We are pleased to offer this Enzo once again to the market, one that presents in exceptional cosmetic and mechanical condition which is complemented by its low mileage, original book pack with service book, manuals, tool kits, Maglite torch, original luggage and both keys.
Often considered the definitive millennial supercar, no true Ferrari collection is complete without an Enzo taking pride of place. This example represents a fantastic opportunity to purchase an original European example in the strongest colour combination and one with extensive UK history.
